Winches

Winches are the heart of products such as cranes, drilling equipment and pipelay systems, which Javan Fabrications has been building for the past 12 years. The winches range from subsea installation to deepwater mooring winches, anchor handling and towing winches.

Excavator operating inside mine shafts

This electric cable reeler mining machine consisting of a revolving drum with a power plant is attached to an excavator operating inside mine shafts.
​This equipment works on a constant tension, and allows the excavator to run as electric equipment, instead of operating with diesel - thereby saving running costs.

Hose Change Out Tool

This equipment was designed by our client for the offshore mining industry, for use on a sampling vessel.

Air Hose Reeler

This equipment is designed to dislodge jellyfish off the seabed to prevent the jellyfish from entering the offshore pump systems.

Excavator Cable Trailing Reeler

This electric cable reeler mining machine consisting of a revolving drum with a power plant, is attached to an excavator operating on open cast mines. This equipment works on constant tension, and allows the excavator to run as electric equipment, instead of operating with diesel, thereby saving running costs. This is a Model 5000 machine. 

Cable Spooling Reeler for Shipping Vessels

This equipment is designed to decoil anchor cables onto ships that are moored in port. 

Compensator Unit

This unit is designed for offshore mining and is fitted on a barge. This prevents the barge and ship from colliding, whilst loading and offloading operations take place. 

Davit Crane for Launch and Recovery of Strike Craft (at sea)

Javan Fabrications manufactured this Davit Crane for the recovery and launching of strike craft out
at sea. The crane is built to international standards and certified by Lloyds. 

Fairleader

The Fairleader was designed by our client, and mounted on a mining vessel for anchor cables, for the purposes of allowing the vessel to remain stationary in sea currents during mining operations.
​This prevents the side of the ship being damaged. The equipment was tested at100 ton SWL, and is built to ABS certification. 
 

Hub Reel Drive

The equipment is designed to receive and to decoil cabling for the oil and and gas industry - it is mounted on an oil rig in Africa.

Pneumatic Hydraulic Hose Reeler

The Reeler is designed to activate and deactivate valves in umbilical lines for the oil and gas industry.
